Publication date: 7 March 2018
The Renewable and Sustainable Energy Systems Lab of the Technical University of Crete, the national leader of the European initiative Trust EPC South in Greece, held the second gathering of the National Discussion Platform (NDP-GR) on the 27th of February 2018 in Athens.
The scope of the event was two-fold: a) to present the GREPCon investment assessment and benchmarking service to the key stakeholders of the whole EE/EPC value chain in Greece and foster a dialogue regarding its market exploitation and b) to get the opinions and proposals of the stakeholders for measures to boost the EPC market in Greece.
The NDP members who attended the meeting were: representatives of the financing sector (Piraeus Bank, Alpha Bank, Pancretan Cooperative Bank, Cooperative Bank of Karditsa, Cooperative Bank of Chania), the EPC/EE market (Helesco, Bonair, Yousave.gr, Euditi, Enfinity), as well as the national Centre for Renewable Energy Sources and Saving (CRES) and the Union of Hellenic Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
Participants shared their opinions and feedback about the GREPCon service and discussed about the potential barriers and opportunities for the exploitation of this service in the energy efficiency sector in Greece. Moreover, they discussed the priorities for measures for the EPC market uptake in Greece, which will be included in the National Roadmap, addressed to policy makers and relevant stakeholders.
