Energy efficient data portal initiative receives funding from European Commission

Publication date: 3 November 2017
On 23 October 2017, the European Commission took another concrete step forward in its efforts to stimulate the private financing of energy efficiency, by supporting a market-led initiative to design and deliver a pan-European protocol and portal for financial data on energy efficient mortgages under the Horizon 2020 programme.
Then Energy efficiency Data Portal & Protocol (EeDaPP) Initiative, will seek to address the current lack of standardisation in terms of technical and financial datasets which hinders market transparency and risk assessment of energy efficiency investments.
The EeDaPP Initiative, which is led by the EMF-ECBC, represents the first time that the market has come together to address the fragmentation of energy efficient datasets at a pan-European scale.
